Guigu Foods made its debut at the China-France Business Cooperation Fair, with Northeastern specialty oil products receiving widespread acclaim.

On January 29, the China–France SME Cooperation Symposium was grandly held in Ballroom 1 of the Shangri-La Hotel in Changchun. Jilin Guigu Food Co., Ltd., as a representative of Jilin Province’s specialty food enterprises, showcased its range of functional oil products, including perilla seed oil and flaxseed oil, at the exhibition. Thanks to their high-quality standards and distinct regional characteristics, these products garnered widespread attention and warm acclaim from the French business representatives in attendance.
At the trade fair, Guigu Food’s booth was bustling with visitors, creating a lively atmosphere. Qiu Chengchao, head of the International Trade Department, gave French buyers a detailed presentation on the company’s signature functional oil products from Meihekou, Jilin Province, covering everything from the ecological advantages of the raw material cultivation and the low‑temperature cold‑pressing production process to the rich nutritional content of α‑linolenic acid, lignans, and other beneficial compounds. To let the buyers experience the products’ flavor and quality firsthand, a tasting session was organized on site. French business representatives stopped by to sample the oils, highly praising their clean taste and natural aroma. Many attendees expressed immediate interest in collaboration, inquiring in detail about product specifications, export standards, and partnership models, resulting in a very dynamic exchange.
“Meihekou City is a well-known hub for the processing and distribution of nuts in Asia. Our perilla seeds and flaxseeds are all sourced from the fertile black soil of Northeast China, with full traceability throughout the supply chain. We adhere to a low-temperature cold-pressing process to preserve nutritional activity to the greatest extent,” said the company’s head. “This participation in the exhibition is not only an opportunity to showcase our products but also an important platform for introducing Jilin’s high-quality agricultural produce to the French market. Guigu Food hopes to use functional oil products as a bridge to foster Sino-French food trade, enabling more overseas consumers to discover and embrace premium, healthy foods from Northeast China.”
This trade fair has established an international platform for Guigu Foods, effectively enhancing the company’s and its products’ global visibility.
